" My art is about communicating the joy and love that I have for the wilderness, inside and out, and the desire to touch the hearts of those who view and purchase my work.
I am endlessly inspired by the elements and love portraying varying combinations of them through canvas and glass, using color, texture and light."
I create fused glass, multi media art and one of a kind signature jewelry pieces in glass. My work is collected widely throughout the North and Southwest. Several of my pieces have been brought overseas to Japan, India and Europe. My glass art is inspired by things that I love...the wilderness, trees, forests, flowers, and abstracts to name a few. I also create multi media art, which incorporates canvas, acrylic, interference paint and glass. These often large, always abstract pieces are inspired by different combinations of the elements. I pour my heart and soul into all that I do creatively.
I'm a third generation artist. I left Seattle in 1996 to land in Ojai and Santa Barbara, CA., showing extensively throughout Central and Northern California. In 2008 I made the move to La Veta, CO., where I had a gallery for years. In 2016 I moved back to the beautiful NW.
My Bachelor of Arts is from the University of Washington in Comparative Religions of the World, emphasizing art in world architecture.
