Dianne has studied oil painting and portraiture ever since she was a little girl. She specializes in painting from life working either with a model in her studio or outside en plein air.
Owners of her portraits include J.R.R. Tolkien's great grandson Royd Tolkein, Bremerton artist and gallery own Amy Burnett, Renaissance Fair owner Ronald Cleveland, and many others both nationally and Internationally. She was the resident artist for the Washington State Renaissance fair for three years painting minature portraits from life.
Dianne is an active member with Oil Painters of America, International Guild of Realism, The Portrait Society of America, Peninsula Art League, Plein Air Washington, and Landscape Painters of America.
Dianne designs labels for the Bainbridge Island winery Perennial Vintners and has a collection of label art on permanent display at the Hotel Vintage Park in Seattle.
She offers classes in classical oil painting and portraiture at her studio in Olalla.
