The Greater Gig Harbor Open Studio Tour Mission:

To provide our greater Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula community and its visitors a free educational experiential opportunity to visit area artists' creative spaces; to build a greater public awareness and appreciation of the diversity and quality of local arts; to create connections that foster collaboration among local artists, residents, schools and businesses; and to contribute to the economic vitality of our "One Peninsula" community.

Our Goal:

To educate and inspire studio visitors about art and the creative process; to establish personal contact between artists and the community by putting a face and personality to the work that our artists create; to demonstrate the processes involved in creating a work of art; and to provide a forum and opportunity for the public to purchase art directly from the artist.
